B. Lynn West, MD

WESTHS2016-215-EditDr. West founded Dermatology of Northern Colorado in 1987. She has devoted herself to her patients and the pursuit of excellence in dermatology health care.

“My work as a physician is a calling rather than a job and I find something enjoyable and rewarding in every day I work. I love developing relationships with patients and within this community.”

She is blessed to be married to Craig. Her church life is important to her; she loves the mountains, and counts it a joy to have three adult sons, her mother and many extended family members nearby.

Dr. West grew up in Denver, returning to Colorado after completing her residency in Dermatology at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. She graduated with a M.D. and B.S. degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, was a National Merit Scholar, is Alpha Omega Alpha, Phi Beta Kappa and was tapped into the Mortar Board Society.

Dr. West is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of Colorado Dermatology Society, Colorado Medical Society and Larimer County Medical Society.

Anne-Lise Hultsch, MD

Dr HultschDr. Anne-Lise Hultsch is a board certified dermatologist. Originally from Columbia, Missouri, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with an A.B. in biology. She also earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. Upon completing her one year general medicine internship and three year dermatology residency as chief resident at Barnes· Jewish Hospital in St Louis, Dr. Hultsch moved to Fort Collins in 1996 to join Dr. West at Dermatology of Northern Colorado.

She practices general dermatology including skin cancer screenings and removals, acne, psoriasis, skin infections and eczema for patients of all ages. She volunteers teaching residents in the Family Practice Program at Poudre Valley Hospital. She also performs cosmetic botox injections.

Outside of work, Dr. Hultsch LOVES to travel, having now visited 41 + countries in the world, 33 of them with her husband, Boyd, and their two sons. They have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa as well as Mt. Fuji in Japan, hiked the Inca Trail in Peru and skied in the Alps. Any world wonder is fair game on her bucket list. She also keeps backyard chickens and owns two AKC champion Welsh Terriers. Her sons attend CU-Boulder and Fort Collins High School.

Jennifer Perryman, M.S., M.D.

Dr. Jennifer PerrymanDr. Jennifer Perryman grew up in southern Indiana where she later attended Hanover College, a small private liberal arts school. She met her husband and earned her bachelor degree there in 2000. She earned a Master of Science in Biology in one year from Purdue University (IUPUI – Indianapolis). She earned her medical degree and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Internal Medicine Preliminary Year at the University of Louisville, and subsequently performed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Louisville under the direction of Dr. Jeff Callen. She was honored with an award from the medical students for outstanding teaching while serving her final year as Chief Resident. After graduating her residency, she practiced dermatology in Louisville with her friend and mentor Dr. Joe Fowler. She remained on staff at UofL teaching students and residents as a Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) until moving to Colorado and joining the Fort Collins Skin Clinic in the summer of 2016.

Dr. Perryman has been an invited lecturer at many regional and national medical conferences. These include the American Academy of Dermatology, Caribbean Dermatology Symposium, Winter Skin Seminar, Kentucky Allergy Society Spring Meeting, 5th Annual Patch Test Workshop, University of Louisville Dermatology Annual Spring Meeting, and Essentials in Medical Dermatology resident course. She is published in peer-reviewed journals, has written chapters for the textbook Fisher’s Contact Dermatitis, and is an author in the dermatology section in UpToDate. In addition to clinical practice, she is involved in clinical research for drug development focusing on psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, actinic keratoses, and more.

Dr. Perryman enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families and looks forward to forming new relationships here in Colorado. In her free time, Dr. Perryman enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. They love being outdoors and are excited for the new adventures Colorado has to offer.

Tyra Wing, Aesthetician

Tyra Wing is a Board Certified Licensed Paramedical Aesthetician. She joined Dermatology of Northern Colorado in 2017. Tyra is a Colorado native that grew up in downtown Denver. She graduated with high honors at Aveda Institute of Denver. Tyra is also a loving wife and mother. Tyra enjoys spending time with her family and is dedicated to making a great life for her child. Before joining DNC, Tyra performed custom facials and chemical peels. Her philosophy is that no two patients are the same. Therefore she strives to customize treatment plans for each of her patient’s unique needs.
